I done the Dusky

I was in the remote, Fiordland of New Zealand for a week on a hike (tramp) called the Dusky Trail. You had to get to the start of the trail by boat; landed in jurassic park and first loo I visited had a few friends. Although what's great about New Zealand is there's no dangerous snakes, crocodiles, mammals etc. in them there hills. It was an incredible challenge that I undertook with two friends I met. It was more like a mountain climb in parts. Hence the chains. Walkwires too were very exciting. Indiana did spring to mind. Spent New Year's Eve in a hut in the middle of nowhere, asleep by 11.20pm but probably awake again for the UK's arrival of 2007.

From there went to Queenstown which is the adrenaline city, was such a contrast from seeing 8 people all week to being in a studenty town. Took advantage of civillisation (check out profile photo; you know me)! Ended up catching a lift with a motorbike tour company to then hike across the Franz Josef glacier for the day; ice axe included.

I then began the journey to Auckland where I am currently residing for the week before beginning touring the North Island.
Hope you enjoy the photos, ta ta for now x x x x x x x x x
