Country Life vs Big City Life

I am now planning to stay in Merrigum until the end of April. It is getting pretty quiet on camp but this only makes you more inventive e.g. channel surfing, volleyball. I have been working in the 'shed' where our orchard packs the fruit; my hand/eye co-ordination is coming along a treat but this has been until I wait for the apples to ripen. Tomorrow I get back to the great outdoors to start picking Granny Smiths. Looking forward to a return to the exercise but know its going to be hard getting back in to it again.

I escaped to Melbourne for the future music dance festival. 25 000 beautiful people, it was quite bewildering after the tranquility of normal life at the mo. I saw Carl Cox and Ferry Corsten, danced like a maniac and loved it. Looking forward to another weekend in Melbourne catching up with friends I met in Fiji who live there. I lost my mobile phone but now have an Australian mobile. Will try and e mail it out so let me know if you would like it. Enjoy the photos!!! x x x

Well Goldilocks, sounds like you’re having a Grrr8 time in Australia and don’t you look all silky and sun kissed in your new pics?

There’s not much time for sunning ones self here in Englaterra so I’m making the most of a special offer on a bottle of Summer Skin… patchy knees, smudged elbows, orange palms here I come. I’m incubating some free gift seeds I got in a box of shredded wheat and we’re thinking about turfing our garden so I can catch some proper rays. Roll on summer, yey!

We want to get tickets for Reading before they sell out and sleep in Roger’s van with a solar shower on the back. What do you think? It’s gonna be a busy summer at NILE so I don’t know if I’ll get the time to go swanning off to such fates.

We went to see the Horrors the other week at the Waterfront, which was entertaining with that acrobat Faris Rotter hanging off some pipes in the ceiling and eventually losing grip and falling upside down into the crowd and I was doing some acrobats of my own nearly breaking my neck on tip toes to get a view over the crowds.

We miss u muchos so keep in touch to let us know where you’re off next... and yep I know I should be saying hello more often and yep I really will keep in touch more. Listening to the Manics Your Love Alone is Not Enough on the radio at number 26 and thinking of you lots now and on many days.

We’re having a BBQ tonite and then Thelma and Louise is on tele, whoop whoop! Roger is painting the back door as I write and waves hello with brush in hand and pencil behind ear.

Any suggestions about what to plant this summer? I’ve spent far too long between the sweet-pea and dahlia seeds already and planting seasons nearly done with.

Look forward to visiting your spot soon and hearing more about the adventures of miss bonjour. Love and kisses from bella and birdy x x
